Forman Investment Services is seeking an engaging, dedicated professional to assist the financial advisors in our office and provide a high level of service to our clients.
Details:
- IN-PERSON position in Professional Office in Columbus, Indiana
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (35-40 hours per week)
- One hour lunch
- Paid holidays and vacation days
- Retirement Plan
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Salary Range: dependent upon financial services experience, higher education degrees, is negotiable
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Computer Proficient including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Proficient Math Skills
General Office Duties:
- Answer phone & greet daily appointments
- Check voicemail daily
- Type any/all correspondence to clients & prospects: thank-you letters, referral letters, etc
- Scan, copy, and archive documents
- Maintain an organized and client pleasing office appearance
- Make coffee, empty trash, wash dishes (coffee pots, cups, etc.- not many) daily
- Filing and organization
- Assist clients with non-investment questions
- Resolve client problems or inquiries, or refer to appropriate staff member
- Schedule meetings
- Deposit checks
- Send client funds as requested via check, ACH, or wire
- Maintain check deposit folder and shred after expiration
- Keeping detailed notes on client activity (CRM)
- Keep current on Raymond James and industry updates and changes (via RJnet, staff meetings, etc…) affecting our branch office and/or clients
- Check Mail daily
- Client Access support to clients
- Maintain Document Retention and Shredding schedule
- Assist Financial Advisors and other staff
